Do you Homeschool in the Cleveland Area?

The following classes are offered at your home or at your homeschool coop location.

Core Creativity: A prerequisite. The basics. Slide show instruction and creativity-building exercises using solid shapes, angles, spaces, stripes, shadow shapes, and mat windows. No art experience necessary.
Drawing I: Based on a college course. Learn techniques and how to use different media, shading, negative space, composition, gesture drawing, and composition.
Learning from the Masters: Great works of art are great opportunities for learning. We will use drawings by Rembrandt, paintings by the Impressionists, and key 20th Century art as creative inspiration.
Landscape Drawing: Using charcoal on white paper, chalk on black paper, pastels or graphite, the student will learn composition, perspective, and technique. Classes will be outdoors when weather permits.
Stamping as an art form: Create rose windows, mandalas, abstract art, or put together layered stamping plates for multiple prints.
Artist-in-Residence: See how to plan, start, and complete a charcoal drawing. pastel, or acrylic painting.
